About the event
Workshop 1: ANS Basics for Adults:
This introductory workshop focuses on building a foundational understanding of autonomic nervous system health and how it shapes our daily experience. We will explore the concepts of “regulation” and “dysregulation,” and how these states commonly show up in adult life—emotionally, behaviorally, and relationally.
Participants will begin to develop greater awareness of their own nervous system states through somatic tracking (noticing internal sensations and shifts in real time), along with practical ways to support themselves during moments of stress or overwhelm.
The workshop integrates theory with embodied, experiential practices to support personal learning and application. It is appropriate for those new to the topic, as well as those who want to deepen understanding and bring nervous system awareness more directly into daily life.
